Option A or B
Registered office or place of management?
The registered office is determined by the articles of association (§ 11 AO). The place of management is where the key decisions are actually taken (§ 10 AO).
Business address and address for service

Permanent establishment or place of management

- Management actually works and takes decisions on site
An address alone moves neither the place of management nor taxation.
Holding company and operating company at one address
- Each company receives its own contract, its own labelled mailbox and its own documents; the documents we need from it depend on its legal form.
- We also identify the beneficial owners – the natural persons at the end of the chain of ownership; for multi-tier structures, a short ownership chart helps. More under documents by legal form and anti-money laundering.
- Contracts and documents do not replace actual use.
- If you set up your holding company as a new GmbH or UG with its business address at our premises, the two free months from your notary appointment apply to it as well.
